1st one had bent frame but 2nd is great

I would have given this 5 stars except the 1st one we received had a bent frame in the front where the feet are. This issue could have been from the online store warehouse or the delivery company but once GE was contacted and involved I was very impressed with their customer service. Once we received the 2nd dishwasher all has been great and the install went even smoother that things lined up and believe it is even quieter. Dishwasher is quiet, has different options and the large size is great for saving on energy and water. Only downside is that the cycles seem a little longer than our old one however the dishes always seem to come out clean so its worth the wait.
Due to the great customer service by Keisha and the visiting tech, as we look at new appliances we will definitely consider GE!

Cleans as great as it looks

Meets all expectations cleaning dishes, glasses and ware. Controls on top of door are intuitive and sufficient. Really like the single indicator lamp that shows "end of cycle". Visible across the kitchen. Uncluttered appearance.
Pleasantly surprised with brushed stainless steel front. I was concerned about how it would blend with oak cabinets and tile floor. The door is reflective in a way that picks up the color of the cabinets or the floor, depending on how you look at it.

Fantastic Cleaner. Dishes will Sparkle!

The first time I used this dishwasher, my glasses came our sparkling! I even had women comment on how crystal clean they were. Its very quiet ad plays musical tunes when the cycle is complete! The length of cycle is about an hour but I'm not in a hurry to get my dishes out of the washer!

I bought this dishwasher about three months ago and I'm so glad that I chose this model. It clearns well and is very quiet. Even the "Light" setting gets pretty heavy stuff off. The adustable height for upper level is very useful. Overall, it's a well designed and well made product. Will recommend it to anyone.

My GDT580SSFSS GE Dishwasher is one of four GE appliances that I purchased when I remodeled my kitchen. I love them all. People say to get this brand or that brand of dishwasher, but this GE had everything I wanted. It is stainless steel inside, has controls on the top and has a pan to prevent and an indicator to detact if there is any leakage (important to me because my previous dishwasher did leak without my knowledge into the condo below). It has just enough features, such as pull down racks for wine glasses, adjustable top shelve, different cycles, sanitizing wash, etc., but not more than I need. It really looks great too and matches all my other GE appliances. It is really, really quiet. I can barely here it running when I stand next to it. I really only here it draining. Oh, and of course it washes great! So far (after two months) I love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
