Quietest dishwasher I have ever owned

We bought this a few weeks ago and love it. You can't even hear it running. We are always going back to check to see if it is running.

We are on our second of this product and it has failed similarly to the first. It only gets an extra star because it is quiet, when it works. Cleaning of dishes was best on the longest cycle which was also dissappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased a GE Dishwasher

I purchased my dishwasher 2 1/2 weeks and the water isn't draining out of the dishwasher. Having a new dishwasher delivered on Sat. I will keep my fingers crossed that it was just a bad machine.

Very Satisfied

I bought this dishwasher last March and I'm very satisfied. I replaced it with my previous GE dishwasher which was 24 years old and was still working well. I replaced it because I was updating my kitchen and selected another GE model because of the reliability of my old dishwasher. This new model cleans very well, is much more quiet than my old model and is easy to load and use. The filter is near the front on the bottom of the machine and is easy to reach and clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far the Dishwasher never worked

Bought this after recommendation from the agent which he provided lot of comparision and feedback. And went with his word as he has been great on all other appliances.
But this appliance is so far NEVER worked. Called Support and the support tech advised to use Heavy option for normal/light use as well. Tried that as well but the dishes are dirty and the appliacne doesn't do the wash. Even the soap is not used et al and we see the soap is still int he container. Opening a service tkt with GE again to see how they want to deal with it.
Right now, I have a useless dishwasher in my home :(.

Cleans good but door problems

I bought this dishwasher 2 months ago and liked it at first - quiet, dishes are spotless, etc. but about 1 month after owning it the door does not always latch properly and therefore doesn't start. You have to hold it shut for a minute then carefully release pressure. Pain! The new door part came from GE now I need to set up a time to have someone come out to replace the door latch. It's been frustrating to say the least.

Works perfectly if door will stay latched

Best and quietest dishwasher we have ever had but only if the door stays latched. It is now taking 6 to 8 tries to get the door to latch and then it may pop open during washing once or twice. So you cannot leave it but must stay during the entire wash cycle. But it does a spectacular job. The door problem makes it unacceptable. Service is coming this Wednesday for the 4th time. How can I say it's high quality and a good value when the door doesn't work properly? I hope it gets fixed because I would give it 10 stars. So disappointed one little thing ruins the entire product.
