What a very nice machine and very quiet.

This machine replaced an 18 year old standard dishwasher. This machine is very quiet and seems to do a very good job of cleaning. It is easy to use and all of the controls make sense. It has only a few options but they cover all of the bases needed. I guess the biggest surprise is how quite it was. We were lucky enough to have a GE factory salesperson there when we were looking. He pointed out a number of things that we did not consider like ball bearings on the upper rack, for ease of movement. BTW: I installed this machine myself and it was pretty straight forward. Again, This is a very nice machine , so far.

I bought this about two months ago and love it. It is super quiet, dries the dishes and plastics, and cleans well. The only flaw is the top rack.. It is tiered and is difficult to put any dishes on top but it works well for tall glasses and vases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted all matching pieces for my new kitchen. I went top of the line on range and refrigerator and I thought it would be ok to go cheaper on the other pieces........ Not true!!!! Sine I've run it only a few times, I've had water to become stuck in it while washing and the dishes are left with a film on them.

Incredibly quiet and sturdy

Bought this dishwasher along with 3 other GE appliances as part of a kitchen remodel. Sound was very important to me, and sometimes even when you are standing next to it, you will not know that it is running. I love that the height of the top basket adjusts; really adds to the versatility. A couple of times I have been disappointed with the cleaning on the 'light' cycle, but that may be that I only run the dishwasher a couple of times week when it is full, so if you run it more often it will probably be fine.

Purchased this dishwasher because we wanted something quiet in our kitchen. This dishwasher is so quiet you need to look at the light to see that it is on. Would have given it 5 stars, but the front is difficult to keep clean.
