Reliable, Quite, and Sturdy

I have been using GE appliances like Refrigerator, Washing Machine and Dishwasher for the last 15 years. Outstanding quality and reliability. New Dishwasher GE - GDT580SSFSS (Made in USA! ) is excellent quality, all steel and very quite with good looks and nice end of cycle tune! I am glad and hope that GE maintains the same quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So quiet!

Love this dishwasher, we have only used it a couple of time so far and it is super quiet, I opened the door a couple of times to confirm that it was working. I also like the features of washing top or bottom rack only. Because it does not have the tube that goes up the middle of the dishwasher we are able to fit a lot more dishes into it. I followed the recommended rinse and soap usage, my utensils came out clean, no spots. I purposely left harden syrup and guac on the dishes to see how it cleaned, all dishes were clean. So far I am happy with the purchase. It was also think it was pretty simple to install, my husband was able to do it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Spotless and Quiet!!

I recently purchased this dishwasher along with all my other GE appliances for my remodeled kitchen of my newly purchased home. The consistant beautiful look of the GE appliances make the kitchen really look awesome. The dishwasher is rediculously quiet and the glasses come out looking as if they were hand-dried. I would absolutley recommend this dishwasher to my friends and family.

very quiet but issues with door closing

Since April 2014, this product has been serviced twice because the door won't close to start the cycle. Even now, it takes three or four tries to get it started.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a nice purchase. Have only had for about 2 months, so I am not sure how long it will hold up but I am satisfied with the product to this point.

Quiet and efficient. Replaced an 11 year old GE with this new model and so far am pleased. Was not sure about hidden controls and no time remaining indicator visible with new model but not as inconvenient as anticipated.
