My husband thought he would do it himself, but took longer than he expected. I highly recommend have the company install the dishwasher.

dishes don't seem to be clean

I have used this dishwasher for just a few days. The first time I did I had to hand wash several dishes that were not completely clean. The second time, the same was true; bowls, plates, silverware still had food particles on them. I rearranged the dishes and ran the load through the "heavy" cycle and still they were not clean. I am not referring to hard to clean pots and pans but rather bowls with some spaghetti sauce that was easily wiped away with a sponge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this dishwasher to replace an older GE model. So far so good. Cleans well, simple to use, very quiet.

Did not want buttons on the front, wanted a stainless steel interior and cutlery drawer on the side. Hoping that this is effective in cleaning the dishes!

Love the look of the dishwasher. Runs quiet however I have run the dishwasher 4 times now and each time there is about an inch of water at the bottom of the tub. It is under warrantee though and have a service tech coming to take a look. Hopefully that will take care of it. Otherwise very happy with the unit.

My wife and I have had the GE dishwasher for a week now and love it. We can barely hear it running and are constantly amazed how clean the dishes are when they come out. We definitely will continue to purchase GE appliacnes.
