I had shopped around for quite awhile for a new dishwasher. I chose this one because of the room inside and because it has a stainless steel interior. Bottom line is that it is quiet,has lots of room and cleans great

New replacement for failed GE Dishwasher

Our previous GE dishwasher failed after only 6 years, so we had to buy a new one matching our other GE appliances. The new dishwasher door feels light and flimsy, and the dish racks are similarly cheap in feel. We'll see if this unit outlives the previous disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Such a quiet dishwasher!!

Love my new GE dishwasher! It is incredibility quiet! My last GE dishwasher lasted for 13 years(it was nothing fancy, house was new construction, so builder grade) This is why I chose another GE but decided it was time to upgrade. I love the hidden controls and the sleek stainless steel front. There is so much more room inside this model as compared to the last one I had. Dishes come out sparkling clean every time!
