Great stove

I have been using this everyday for two months now and have been very happy with it. Of course the finish is perfect and the oven is very large. My only complaint would be the glass top on the stove isn't the best quality and tends to leave burn marks no matter how often you clean it but they aren't that noticeable. Overall I am happy.

Drawer Bar pull

After I got the stove installed, I realized that I could not open my dish washer door all the way down. I then decided to see if I could remove the handle on the pull out drawer on the stove. This was easily accomplished, but then the screw holes did not look very nice. To solve that problem, I placed some magnets on the drawer. Looks fine. How about making an attractive "screw" to add as a filler....it would make the stove more universal and would not cost much.

Nice looking.

I like the stove. It is attractive and cooks evenly. I was looking forward to having a large window on the oven until I saw how much grease gets splattered on it. I was able to clean it off with a Brillo pad. The self clean feature works well. Somehow grease gets in between the glass and the door has to be removed and taken apart in order to clean that area. I find this very inconvenient and time consuming. I have learned to cover my chicken with foil when baking, but that is difficult to do when broiling!

Gallery Range a Great Buy
on August 13, 2016

I really like my new range. Does take a long time for the oven to pre-heat. Just do NOT use foil in oven. It has a hidden element under the oven floor and it gets very, very hot. It melted the foil into the oven finish. Got is off, but the finish is damaged. The warming burner is great and does not burn anything. Great range for the money.

I bought the combination of the refrigerator, dishwasher and electric stove in the Gallery line of fridgedaire appliances.I am very pleased with the smudge proof stainless steel covering. The stove works like it should and I find it easy to keep clean. Very happy with the purchase.

Not the quality I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping the this range would meet expectations. Oven temperature was way off but with the adjustment feature I was able to get it with 5 degrees of accurate. The viewing window has smears from general use I probably will have to take apart to clean the door. Definetly a negative. Oven slow to preheat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Jaiazzi, I can certainly feel your frustration with the experience with your range. I am glad you were able to adjust the temperature to within 5 degrees. Models with the hidden bake feature (like your model) take a little longer to preheat. Times ranging from 10 to 17 minutes are normal to preheat to 350° F. Keep the oven door closed during preheat to minimize the time required. Spills can enter the door vent openings and cause streaks to the inner surfaces of the glass. The door must be disassembled in order to clean those surfaces. Be on the lookout for an E-mail from me with more information. Cordially, Ruth

Hey Bfwalt! Thank you for sharing your concerns. I recommend applying a few drops of the Cerama Bryte cooktop cleaning crème directly to the cooktop. Use a paper towel or a No Scratch Scrub Sponge to clean the entire cooktop surface. Make sure not to leave any residue. You can also find the Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner on our website at http://www.frigidaire.com/Filters--Accessories/Cleaning-Accessories/ACC200005/. I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have additional questions. Courtney
