I have had my HP printer for over 5 years using only HP 564XL original ink cartridges but recently I am not getting near as many b/w printed copies and I used to get with both reg and xl cartridges. My printer cannot be used for your ink plan but it is still working properly and I do not feel I should have to buy a new one just to get the better yield ink that I used to have.
