This cartridge is smaller than the same 564XL cartridges I've purchased in the past. It indicates that it is for my printer, but it is a smaller width than the one I currently have in the printer. The series number is the same, though. I haven't installed it yet as the one I have still has ink in it. The smaller width of the new one does have me concerned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i opened the black 564XL cartrige and installed it. the first 2 dozen or more copies were a light color almost gray. eventually the copies were the normal black color. never had this problem in the past. i wasted some of my money on poor quality copies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The ink many of the Hp Cartridges run out quickly including the HP 564HL Blacl Ink Cartridge.

Ink is used quickly

I have been disappointed in how quickly the ink is used up. I do not use my computer/printer for business purposes but for general home use. Amount I print is not great. Even so, the cartridge empties quickly, even the XL.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The black cartridge seemingly ran out of ink with fewer than 10 copies made. Fortunately, cleaning the printhead appears to have corrected the problem but it should not have had to be cleaned in such a short period of time.
