ink is costly

I love the printer it is easy to connect to even from my cell phone but, the ink for this printer runs out quickly and the refills are expensive. The ink has cost me far more than the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cartridge doesn't fit

This cartridge is labeled XL, the same as my old cartridge, but it doesn't fit in my printer. I subsequently bought another one, NOT labeled XL, but it is the same size and also doesn't fit. Thanks alot, HP. :(((

This product doesn't work

This one ink cartridge doesn't work. When I first put it in some black color would come out but it was so bad I couldn't even read the text it was supposed to be printing. I tried cleaning the heads, etc. and printed some test pages which showed no black at all even though this was a brand new cartridge. I tried reseating the cartridge that didn't help. The last black cartridge I had didn't last anywhere near where it should have. I don't know if it's the cartridges at this point or if it's a problem with the printer but I never had a problem with the printer prior to this so I'm assuming it has to do with the cartridge. I've never been this disappointed with an HP product before. The last black cartridge printed fine but seemed to run out of ink long before it should have. I checked the ink levels and it showed it was very low and now this new black cartridge isn't working at all. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!!!

The first shipment was faulty. Did not work. Replacement was timely and efficient. Second product worked well.

HP584XLBlack ink cartridge

I am so glad that they came out with the XL size. I don't have to change so often. This order was made with all the other colors I needed and it was on my doorstep within 24 hours. More like 18 hrs. Was so surprised since it was 1 day before Christmas.

Previous XL Version Was Much Larger

Unfortunately HP has significantly reduced the size of this Black XL cartridge, it is now the same size as the XL cartridges for the other three colors.. This cartridge always runs out of ink well before the XL sized color cartridges. When it was larger the black ran out at approximately the same time as the other three color cartridges. I also noticed that HP did not reduce the price when they reduced the size.

This product as with all 564 cartridges run out of ink much to fast. I don't know if it is the cartridge fault or the printers fault.
