I like that this prints more pages than the standard 564 cartridge. Overall, keeps up with the fine HP name.

However, I was surprised that I had to replace the ink so fast and I know I didn't make that much copies. Has it ever happened before? I'm at a lost for words because I know it should have lasted a lot longer but it didn't. I will always buy direct even though the store is near. Next time I change the ink I will do a paper count, otherwise two thumbs up:)

I bought the hp photosmart 5520 recently. They say that you can get 500 sheets from one 564 XL cartridge. I didn't get any where near that many on my first cartridge, so I ordered another. The jury is still out. I will tell you that the printer is nice. The photos are nice and the print quality is good, but it went though the ink in a big way with the first cartridges that came with the printer. I'm thinking I'll need to buy a laser printer and conserve my precious ink with my laser jet. I'm not dissatisfied, but these cartridges do not print the amount of pages stated in the specs.

The ink cartridge does not print all the time. I have to take it out, shake it up to print more than 1 page. The printer is only a couple of months old so the only change is the new cartridge. Please replace it.

HP inks in HP printers work together to give excellent results from paper copies to photos. I will only use HP inks in my printer.

Usually a black ink cartridge would last several days. I'm not printing any more than I usually do but your cartridges are running out in one day. You've obviously reduced the ink in these cartridges significantly.
