I cannot get my new 564 black cartridge to feed black ink through the print head, which I've cleaned twice with warm water and a clean cloth. All the others worked when I changed them. I've replaced cartridges numerous times, so it's not like I don't know how to do that. all the unplugging and rebooting doesn't help either. This cartridge either is faulty or the system of ink delivery is causing this persistent printer failure error Oxc19a0013. The ability to reach a human to further troubleshoot the problem is nonexistent.
All of your ink cartridges (especially black) have a very short life, with the number of copies a fraction of that advertised.

Hi,
I am sorry that you are disappointed with the page yield of the cartridge. The estimates of pages printed are based on industry standards. How the cartridge will perform in your own printer will vary according to usage.
Unless a cartridge was damaged or defective, the ink usage determines how long it will last. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage: - Use the printer's draft mode and black only setting whenever possible - Shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That lets it ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying. - Consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans are based on how many pages you print. You can check out the details at: HPinstantink.com
Contact the seller if a cartridge was low on ink to start out with, or if low page yield was caused by a defective cartridge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and it was very easy to install. The included directions were clear. A very nice replacement part.
