Last time I used a reconditioned cartridge and it leaked and ruined my printer. Also the cartridge didn't print as clearly for the short time it did work. I won't make that mistake again. The XL cartridges are worth the money!

Capacity short of advertised claims

The capacity of the new XL cartridges is extremely weak. You will not get anywhere near advertised claims on the number of pages per cartridge. I like the performance in terms of its look on the printed page. But the pricing for the capacity I get makes this product a weak value. If there were another choice, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

The initial (or Setup) cartridge that came with the new printer sure didn't seem to last long at all; it probably didn't even print up to 100 pages, if even that much. So I'm hoping this new one will print much more than that, such as however much it claims to. Of course, I just installed this one in about a week ago, so it's a little too early to tell. However, so far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed that the price is the same but the cartridge is now VERY noticably smaller then my last purchase.

I always come back to HP for my ink. There is no other place I would trust for my ink. I have a small printing business and this is the best ink I have ever used.
The colors are true and never runs,and the service is exceptional.
