I print using DRAFT with these ink cartridges and they still don't last very long. I didn't count the number of pages with my previous XL cartridge but I will when I begin using my new cartridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought two cartridges. One did not work. The other ran out of ink quickly. What to I do with the defective one? Can I get a refund?

A suggestion to HP - since the use of this ink is the only one to use - Why does HP not give "a rebait" for the turn in of used cartridges ???? This -perhaps- would be an incentive to purchase same "on line".
