Needs improvement

Ever since HP downsized the cartridge size, my printer Photosmart B8550, as trouble recognizing the new cartridge is installed. I have to take it out and put in several times or even save until the next cartridge runs out and try it before the printer will accept it and run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

XL Black Ink cartridge helps with time. You don't have to change cartridge as often.

The cartridge came with pictorial insertion directions which were easy to follow. I'm very pleased with the ink's clear, crisp printouts, and no requirement for an alignment copy!!!

The black cartiridge didn't work. It seems to be missing a piece on the bottom. I haven't tried the color cartridges yet.

HP 564xl inks give great performance for a long time. The ink is great, I would not even try to use an off brand. Price is also reasonable. I do a lot of printing and need to be able to count on the ink lasting.
