Why is the black cartridge you sent me -- labeled XL -- smaller than the old one which I took out which was also labeled XL? Both are genuine HP products.

Purchased the 564XL It stated up to 550 pages. I have not even printed 50 and my computer states I am low on ink!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Miss the old Ink

The "old" 564XL printed 750 pages and this says 550 but is closer to 500 pages. It seems I am forever changing ink cartridges. I'd pay more for more ink and less time wasted changing cartridges.

I think the ink cartridge body should be made of clear plastic so one can see the amount of contained ink. This way one see if one is getting what one is paying for.
Also I do NOT trust the printer or its software when it comes to displaying the remaining ink level.
Also I believe hp should lower the price of a cartridge or fill with MORE ink.
