The large capacity cartridge needs a greater supply of black ink.

Can't say much about an ink cartridge. It works just fine. My only regret, and the reason I demoted it by 1 star, ist that the size is still reduced. Much preferred the larger size which gave great time before changes and of course saved some money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great color, less printing

I got this printer because I was having connection difficulties with my older HP printer. When I would buy the XL cartridge for the older printer, I could print many more documents than what I am getting with this cartridge. Both printers were photosmart, but the size of the ink cartridge is about half of the size on the old printer. Both printers have great print quality, just a capacity per cartridge issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just installed the ink cartridge a couple of days ago. It started printing clearly on the first page. Haven't had it long enough to say anything about how long it lasts. So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am so sick of buying ink for this ink eater! I wish I would have bought a Kodak printer. The ink is much cheaper. I used to love HP!

Seems to work very well in my new printer. It is lasting nicely...better than previour printer cartridges
