564XL doesn't come close to the copies it says

I have learned about taking care of the cartridges using the printer diagnostics. I didn't know that there is a vent under the paper tab(that needs to be removed) I learned about the warranty date
and how to care for the printer and the cartridges and how to clean the electronic connections properly, using only distilled water and following HP guidelines. I buy the photosmart printer for the excellent quality of photos and printing, I guess I'm spoiled, but I'm not ever changing brands.

I was disappointed to get a "low ink" notice as soon as I did with the XL cartridge.I barely got 300 pages.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The ink cartridge would not work when I first installed it. After printing over 10 blank pages it started to work and now is working fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use the 564XL Black ink - no need to worry about running out.
Cost of product is too high but is comprable to others.
Convenience of shopping online is easy.

Was able to only get 12 pages from new cartridge before it ran out of ink. Even though display said it was basocally full. I cleaned it twice, took it out and then reinserted it, cleaned it again, then finally just through it away!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't do much printing but these cartridges don't last long at all. Great printer and great quality but I'm spending a FORTUNE replacing cartridges so it really negates the saving on the actual printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
