great cartridge

I've always used OEM original ink cartridges in my printer except for once. I regretted it. the prints weren't as bright, my printer did not recongize the cartridges so the low ink message always came on when I tried to print. and worse of all the ink cartridge didn't last very long. So much for trying to save money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Several people use my printer from their worstations so I need a dependable, long lasting black cartridge. This really fills my requirements.

Label misleading

This would not fit into slot at left side of cartridge holder. It would only fit in right side meant for a photo editing cartridge!

My HP printer not printing black

Although my computer is indicating the black cartridge has been replaced, nothing is printing in black. I've tried printing multiple copies thinking it was just taking time to register, but it has been many hours and there is no black ink. I tried color printing which is fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most of the time they are ok, but last one I ordered was defective and would not print well. Expensive as I do a lot of printing.

It panics you and then keeps printing ! :)

I bought my first 564XL and installed it on 11/19/13. I do not print everyday... so I figured it would last a longgggggggg time. I was away for part of the month of December. So at the beginning of February when the warning appeared every time I print - Toner/Ink LOW - I panicked and immediately sent for a couple replacement cartridges... thinking that this XL wasn't as extended in performance as I'd expected. Needless to say I was quite disappointed. But since the new ink had not arrived, I continued to print with the cartridge that keeps warning me that the ink is low... and it just keeps on printing every page I request. So since I'm a spend thrift and want to get my money's worth...I will just ignore the warning and print until the page comes out faint or illegible. It has surprised me that it just keeps on printing and I'll just be surprised again when it stops regardless of the Toner/Ink Low warning!!!
I'd rather not have to change the cartridge more often so he XL is great for me and even greater, since it hasn't run out yet! Maybe I should do a page count when I insert one of my new XL cartridges?!!?! I also was advised by a computer GEEK to use the monochrome setting to use less ink... perhaps that's my learning miracle of extended life!

Maybe it is a bad cartridge?

Recently installed 564xl black ink cartridge and it is not working properly. Have had to repeatedly clean printhead, , align printer, etc., just to get it to use black ink. When I print out documents, there would be no black ink used despite properly installing the cartridge. Have to admit, this is the first time I am experiencing this problem
