I always buy original hp inks for my printer because photos printed with them do not fade. I actually tested it myself by putting a picture I printed on the wall under a fluorescent desk lamp which would fade it because it outputs ultraviolet light. Hasn't faded in over a year. Also, the XL size saves money.
