It is a basic, compact microwave oven that is best suited for a small household with minimal cooking needs. Sleek design with essential features and straightforward appearance makes aesthetically pleasing! The price is perfect and affordable.

Step Down in quality

Bought this unit to replace 15-20 year old similar sized and equivalent price point model that finally died.
This unit is noisier and sound like it is struggling to heat my morning oatmeal and requires more time. The machine gets warm to hot on the top unlike the older model which did not. GE suggests not putting items on top of this machine because it makes it harder for the machine to keep itself cool.
The keypad requires extra step to start cooking versus the old machine. The button placement has changed and is less intelligent design.
The beep to remind you that cooking is completed is annoying. It beeps every 30-60 seconds and sometimes I just want to finish what I'm doing at my desk before going back to the kitchen.
Overall this has a cheaper feel to it than the model it replaced. I'm keeping it because of the logistics of returning to the online seller are not as easy as returning to a big box store.

Works as expected. It has a design flaw. Fingerprints are left whenever you use the microwave - opening door , closing door, setting fictions - makes me think the person that designed it never used it or the testers had gloves on. Not a minor flaw it’s annoying.
