we use this smaller microwave mounted on a shelf rather than on the counter and it suits our purpose well
controls are easy to use and so far it's been great

Cooks as it should, instructions are not intuitive

Works well but it is not intuitive and I don't think the instructions are clear. Of course, I never think instructions of virtually any product are as clear as they should be.

No printed instructions

The microwave works fine, or I’m assuming it would if I knew how to use it. There is no instruction manual provided other than a three page overview which is pretty useless. The web site states you can request a copy of a manual by calling the company, but no one answers, the online chat function is disabled and you are eventually directed to the web site to read everything there. I’m older, don’t have a printer and only have my iPhone for access. I can’t read the small print off my iPhone. I still am not sure of the reheat function which is the whole reason I bought it. I won’t buy another appliance without knowing what the company support is. The support from this company is zero.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The "Reheat" feature is mainly designed to cook already prepared foods, such as leftovers. You can press the reheat button, then each number is designated for different types of food. For pasta, you will press 1. Meats, casserole, and pizza, you will press 2. Then press 1, 2, 3 or 4 for the amount of servings. Fruits and vegetables will be 3.
