Rattling and stopping, food unevenly cooked

This microwave oven has failed, and it is only recently out of warranty. I purchased it on 10//30/22. The turntable is rattling and just stopping every few seconds. I'm very disappointed, most GE products are outstanding.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It serves the purpose I need it to do. Bur, I'm underwhelmed by the turntable. I don't like the center peg as opposed to the usual method of "legs" on rollers. While the center peg certainly keeps the turntable in place, it always feels like the turntable is going to topple over. It feels unstable, and I don't like that. I chose this microwave because of its size, not because of its features. I have a tight spot, and it was one of few that fit the spot in my kitchen.

Second GE microwave oven

Loved the simplicity of my old GE microwave & wanted the same again (old one wasn't heating consistently.) The new works fine but I'm sad because the updated keypad requires additional button pushing (thus the 4 stars.) I'm happy with my second GE microwave oven.

EXCELLENT product and maybe the best feature-- you can turn your "ding" off. No more persistent dinging from the microwave. And, GE made it so easy...push MUTE on the same pad as the other commands. No more looking up on the internet for the secret code to turn off the "ding". Way to go. The silence is golden especially when the baby is asleep.

We needed something small and functional primarily just to reheat food and beverages. We also wanted something somewhat sleek looking that matched our kitchen appliances.
This is the perfect size, look and functionality.
