Compact microwave with a side of burning plastic

After just two years of use, a part inside this microwave literally melted. It is a smoking, stinky piece of plastic now. I am very disappointed.

Great for countertops.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this product for 3 years and still works great. The size and wattage was perfect for our small counter space and for simple reheating. Easy to use controls. We took our our big bulky microwave abover our stove and replaced it with a hood vent. Microwaves above the stove don't vent as well as standard hood vents. We don't cook in microwaves. We use it only for reheating or heating water. The small capacity was perfect for our needs.

Just bought a different brand

About two years after purchase the interior lining of this GE began to crack and chip. It was a great micro until this happened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
