Stylish, easy to use microwave

This is a very nice, easy to use microwave. I have had it about 4 months with no problems. I prefer a small counter top microwave and this one looks and works great. There is a safety feature that sometimes will not let you start the microwave. You get a display that says "food". You just need to open and close the door and it will start normally. It is explained in the manual but easy to miss. I use it primarily to defrost and reheat items and it does an excellent job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros: Dimensions and power are ideal for people who want a small footprint and only to heat up food and beverages. The oven nicely holds a full-size dinner plate and offers a wide range of features. It has the look and feel of a quality product, and works very well.
Cons: The short power cord on the oven’s right restricts placement. If the wall socket is on the left (as in my case), 17 inches of the cord is used up just bringing it from the right to the left. So, there's less cord to reach the socket.

Last week I purchased my GE microwave oven and began using it. I was surprised, and frustrated, to see the opening would not accommodate an a 16-oz coffee mug. If I tipped the glass, it would clear the opening to the cavity. There it had plenty of room. Unfortunately, tipping drinks is difficult as well as very dangerous
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
