Just what I wanted.

I have had this mcrowave for three weeks. I donated my old, workable tank of a microwave which weighed overt 35 pounds and took up too much counter space. The GE is the right size for my wife and me. It looks great and has been a pleasure to use. I only use it to reheat items and cook frozen vegetables. It takes a little longer to do this because of the low wattage, but I am willing to put up with this for its small size and convenience.

We have actually replaced this microwave because it was too small for the built-in cabinet "box" in which we were going to place it and it kept slipping and sliding (but that was our fault) but mostly because the power was so low that it took MUCH longer to heat anything than the previous (and admittedly larger and therefore more powerful) microwaves we in the past, so we are not comparing apples to apples. If this is the largest microwave you can use for some reason, it might be just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a Spacemaker 11 which broke after 17 years, spacemaker being the operative word. I was and still am limited by the space available for the unit. You have no comparable models currently. The interior capacity for the ones available are too small and seem rather cheaply made. That includes the one I purchased. I would have gladly paid more for a better unit if the dimensions had been appropriate. I liked my spacemaker and was disappointed it was no longer being manufactured.
