This rating is based on my old GE microwave which I had for 18 years, it was a profile and it worked great so I stayed with GE and I’m sure this new one will be just as great!

I was surprised by how many things will fit in this microwave because it is a "compact" microwave. I was originally going to get a 1.1 cubic feet microwave but once I saw how big that was, so based on the space I had, I decided to go with this one. I can fit a Lean Cuisine, a Marie Callender's, or a Hungry Man meal in. The Hungry Man surprised me the most because that is a pretty big meal. The only downside it this is 700 watts and a lot of foods either give 1000 or 1100 watts so for basically everything you need to convert it.

Very pleased with Microwave size & quality

I bought this for my husband's office. They only have 3 microwaves for 40 people, so the lines can get long if too many decide they're going to heat up lunch. I looked at several models before buying this one, and the quality looked suspect on other brands. Since he has this in his office, being able to turn the 'beep' noise off was important - the Sound button addressed this need. This feature isn't available on other personal microwaves I looked at. I deducted one star for the interior height. He heats his coffee in this a lot, and taller mugs don't fit. If this is important to you, you should check this height against your favorite mug. Overall, this works well and I'd buy it again.

The perfect size

All great so far, ease of operation on time cooking with power levels and I like the express cooking feature. Has a clean no nonsense look. If one is looking for a small micro wave this the the perfect size

Good little oven

I bought it a week ago because of size that I need. The microwave looks great. It is a little under powered. My biggest concern is that it might not be sealed properly. The "standard" test - put your cell phone in the microwave, close the door and call to check if the signal goes through - failed. The phone call goes through the closed door, the phone is ringing. Microwaves are leaking creating danger for the user. Any suggestions?

Thank you for writing a review on your brand new microwave. GE uses test equipment to test for leakage of microwaves. Normally, if there has been repair or damage to the door of the microwave, it will be followed up with a test.
