1.While a 10.75" dinner plate just fits, the standard microwave plate cover extends 1/8" all around, adding 1/4" to the diameter. My 2 former 700 watt microwaves (non-GE) all had that extra 1/4". Perhaps the center of the turntable should be a tiny bit to the left, it may work.
2. The push feature to open the door should push to the right, not the left - it interferes with the door opening.
3. The number pad, at just a couple of months of light use is bubbling up.
4. The stainless steel shows everything. Very hard to keep nice.
5. If you leave a standard size potato in for the whole setting, the bottom burns.

Deciding to reduce the current microwave footprint-We purchased this about 2 months ago to gain some extra real-estate on the counter. It is perfect for what we use and need.

Very small interior

I bought this to fit into a nook only 13” deep. It is replacing an older Spacesaver II which was great. This one not so much. It is really too small and doesn’t have the warming sensors that made the old one so good. The instruction for picking the warming levels are not clear and it seems to warm everything on full power rather than a gradual approach. Same with thawing. Would send it back if I could. Did not realize how small it was. I wish GE would bring back the old Spacesaver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Holds full size plate so great for heating up left-overs. Also works well for heating up hot chocolate, pieces for pie, etc.

This microwave is nice and compact but has features that I love. My favorite is the ability to turn off the beeps. No more teenagers racing to stop the cycle one second before it’s done. Thank you!
