Good appearance a requirement

Disappointed that the controls are difficult to read in dim light. They should have been back-lighted or something to make them visible in any type of lighting environment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive, logical controls, ok noise level. I would prefer all-white because of fingerprint issues on stainless steel, but the all-white version is difficult to find and not available at my store. Very well packaged. Perfect condition. I would prefer the 30-second button/start button to be at bottom right. It would be nice if time buttons were lighted. The name General Electric means a lot; my kitchen range is also GE and I'm very pleased.

Turntable specs incorrect

Specs. state turntable is 10.75" but it is 10.25" not big enough for a dinner plate, width of door opening is 10-7/8 not wide enough for a 11" dinner plate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We just had a GE hood and range installed a few days ago in stainless steel. Our current countertop microwave is larger and all black. The microwave hood was removed because we felt it wasn't doing the job. This unit looks pretty on the countertop and gets the job done!
