Love this little microwave!!!

Have had this less than a week but love everything about it!! I think it heats food more evenly than the higher wattage microwaves. This replaces a huge Sharp 1100 watt MW. It is quiet as a whisper. Our largest dinner plates fit perfectly which was a surprise. We did not expect them to. a regular size MW popcorn fits without a problem. The turntable stops for a short time until the bag fluffs up & then goes again. When opening you have to pay attention and press on the left side of the button. If you do this it won’t move around. I love the add 30 sec button. Love the stainless steel on it...kind of dresses it up. If get smudges just take a damp rag and wipe off, then dry. Love every thing about it. Thank you GE for making such a fabulous small microwave!

Great value, compact device, handy quick buttons

This is a great microwave for cramped kitchens or limited counterspace. Obviously the device is small, so you should size it up before buying (you can fit a glass pie pan in here, but probably nothing bigger). What I'm really impressed by are the quick button features. Hitting just 1 microwaves for 1 minute, hitting 2 does 2. There's the standard +30 seconds button, combined with the quick number buttons, makes most time combinations stupidly easy.
I'm not crazy about the opening mechanism, you have to push a button and the door "springs" open. This design is probably intentional in order to keep the size compact and small, but this feels like something that could break over prolonged use (and then you don't have a way to open the device!). But, we've had the device for 4 months now, probably using the device 5 to 7 times a week, so far so good! 5 stars
