Compact and Efficient!

My new GE microwave fits perfectly on my kitchen counter next to my stove. As I cook on my stove and in my oven, I also heat food in the microwave. It is a perfect partner to my existing kitchen appliances.

This microwave takes forever to heat up food and doesn’t even have enough power to pop a bag of popcorn!

This is a replacement for the identical model which was under two years old when it blew up. Another hunk of toxicity for the landfill… I have a custom cabinet that accommodates exactly these dimensions, so purchased the identical item as there were no others of this size. It was a great little microwave and I love the looks of it, but in my opinion it should have lasted more than two years. I was wiser this time and took out a three-year extended warranty. Praying that I don’t need it!

Just the right size

Love how it has a small footprint in my kitchen, yet is big enough to heat up (quickly) a large dinner plate of food. It runs quietly and I appreciate the option to mute the beeping sounds.

Turntable size misrepresented

I bought this microwave because the specs say the turntable is 10 3/4 inches diameter. It is only 10 inches diameter. That's a very big difference. And, that difference makes the microwave unusable for me. A huge pain to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An okay mircowave but ....

I like the size, the sound silencer, and it does the job BUT there are a few things that just don't work well: 1) The control panel is black with dark lettering which makes it very hard to read. It should be white or at least have light lettering. 2) It is very light weight so slides around when you press the button to open the door. 3) I like to use the timer but on this microwave the timer beeping goes on forever and is very loud! It's enough to wake the dead along with all my neighbors. My old one just beeped twice.
