Disapointing

Replacement for GE microwave we have had for 10 years or more. Does not performa as well as previous model. Confusing reheat feature missing several single button features express buttons perform less well than prior model ( takes 2 min to reheat tea v 1.25 min)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had to replace my microwave after 20 years and was looking for a simple yet powerful product. GE is known for it excellence and I decided with this product after comparing other brands at the price point. It's quiet, easy to use and also matches my stainless steel kitchen products.

Value for money mid size microwave oven

Reasonably priced microwave with 14 x 9 x 14 inch interior cavity sufficient for large plates or casseroles. Outside dimension is 20 5/16 x 12 x 15 5/8 inch which fits on smaller countertops. 950 watt sufficient for most tasks. 1.1 cu ft interior. Door sensor and opening/closing mechanism seems to be sturdier than other models.

Have to get used to power buttons. Sounds a little louder when it runs. Hope it lasts as long! Updated from white to stainless/black to match other appliances.
