Received the microwave as a gift. It makes my kitchen look updated with the stainless steel and black box. Easy operation. Quiet operation. The nicest microwave I have ever had. Nice appliance GE.

Everything I wanted in a microwave!

I bought this microwave a week ago to replace a 19 year old microwave. I loved my old microwave and wanted something very similar--it needed to be less than 16 inches deep, about 1 cubic foot and 1000 watts, basic features and a light that turned on when you opened the door (the last was non-negotiable). I did a lot of research and this microwave consistently came up in the top 3 of midsize microwaves. This microwave is great, not only does it have all of these features but it is much quieter. Size is perfect and it heats items quickly. Am extremely happy with the purchase.

the button to open the door feels stiff and the white letters on the black background are hard to read and should be lit; the price and the company name is why i bought the product but these features need upgrading

purchased this to replace my 10 year old oven

I attempted to repair my current 10 year old oven but found parts too costly and repair time too consuming .My wife and I immediately decided too shop for a new microwave unit. Size was a concern as this would be a countertop installation. We are pleased at our choice...acceptable size; great color match to other appliances; performance speed is much faster than previous model. Foods are heated more evenly and efficiently.

Amazingly quiet

We bought this microwave about 1 week ago. This is so amazingly quiet I forgot I was making food! Thankfully this microwave also beeps to remind me that my food was done. I would highly recommend this microwave.
