All around good microwave

While I've only had this a day. I can say it is the quietest microwave I've ever owned, very sleek looking nice clean front no protruding handle like the last one I had. Has all the normal features. I bought this one cause of the size, inside & out holds a very large dinner plate, and fit in my space, looks and the price was right. I also like the white inside makes it nice & bright for viewing food. Was a bit concerned about the 950 watts not being enough but not a problem at all. Everything thing works well on it all the buttons & features and the push button to open the door also works well. I cut 4 little squares from a gripper pad & placed under the feet of the microwave to be sure no sliding on counter, not sure if it was needed but I have done this with previous microwaves as well, and it works well. We'll see how long it lasts 1st micro lasted 20yrs 2nd 10, they just don't make things the way they used to that is why I won't spend to much on something with a 1year warrenty. So far very happy I chose this one.

VERY QUIET

A very nice appliance, quite powerful and very quiet (except for the alarms). You can barely hear it when running.
One problem I have with the door release button is the force it needs to press it. I am afraid some "little old ladies" will need to call someone else to help them with pressing the button. (Is there an adjustment that could reduce this force?)

I haven’t had my microwave long but seems to be made well. It’s very sturdy and works great. It also heats up extremely fast compared to my old one.

We just replaced our 13 year old GE Profile to get a microwave with more wattage. The old one worked fine, but took too long to cook food. This new microwave is much quicker to heat the food and is super quiet. We didn't realize how loud the other one was. If the old one is any indication as to how long GE appliances last we know we'll have this microwave for a long time.

I received this for a Christmas gift this year. My old one was done for. This nice stainless steel microwave is a perfect size for my counter top and does everything I need. Very happy my mom bought this for me!

Mostly Very Good

We’ve had this microwave for about six months. It’s the right size for a countertop model, reasonably priced, powerful, and does everything it is supposed to do well. I wish there was more contrast between the printing and background on the control panel. It’s a bit hard to see for a geezer like me. Also, I’d like to just hit the time buttons and “Start” to cook something rather than have to push the “Time Cook” button first. Overall, I like it.
