ok for the price

Have had GE appliances before and needed a new microwave so we decided on this one because we wanted a stainless steel microwave. This microwave is pretty good for the price. It made a little rattling noise in the beginning so we moved it around on the glass top micro table where it was seated. That seemed to provide some help in the situation, but still an occasional noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Old GE unit was MUCH better than its replacement!!

We had an older GE unit for about 20 years that was great so we went with another GE. The quality is not as good, it is a lower temperature range, the buttons do not work as well. The display on the older unit was much easier to read. You people did everything possible to ruin a good unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this microwave in stainless steel and am very happy with this choice. The microwave is very easy to use; the only disadvantage is I didn’t realize the maximum power is 950 and my so it takes a bit longer to cook, reheat, etc. Otherwise, excellent product and value.
