tho it only has 950 watts and prior unit owned was 1000 watts i feel the 50 watt difference does not make a difference i cooking times do G E

This is the best microwave we've ever had! It's very spacious inside and allows us to cook things on our largest plates. And at 950 watts it's more powerful than some models we've had in the past with more wattage! The preset features are extremely helpful and allows for efficient cooking. We're absolutely thrilled with our new, stylish microwave!

Good Mid-Size Countertop Microwave

So far it's been working great, easy to use, it fits under my low cabinets and looks nice in my kitchen. I like that this microwave is 950 watts because my old microwave was 900 watts, so I don't have to do any major adjustments with cooking time for my recipes. I used to have a larger microwave with a 14" turntable and I'm getting used to the smaller size of this one, which is good for a small family. The fan is very quiet, probably a small fan. So when I cook rice, the interior gets very wet from the steam and I have to wipe it dry because I don't want it to rust. When your food is done heating, it beeps to let you know it's ready, and it gives you reminder beeps which I find annoying but I'm getting used to it. I read other reviews of this microwave and I want to say that there is a label on the blue plastic film protecting the stainless steel top and sides to let you know it should be removed before using. There is also a clear plastic film over the keypad that is also marked with a label too. It was easy to remove the blue plastic film, but the clear plastic film was a bit tricky to remove. I wish there was a printed owner's manual included with the microwave instead on having to download a PDF manual. Overall I think this is a good value and the price was very affordable.

It's a regular microwave, but you cannot see when dialing in instructions.

The fan doesn't come on until it is through heating anything. (2) The outside gets hot. (3) When you put a cup to heat water, etc. it doesn't return to the same position you put it in so you have to turn it around in order to pick it up by the handle.(4) It slams hard and loud. (5) no handle - you have to push in with your finger to open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
