Returned it after second use

It got so hot on the out side while baking potatoes we could not touch it. Plus we were told it was made in USA. It was not. So disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great countertop microwave!

Love our microwave! Perfect for my husband and me, as well as for when we gave guests. When our over-range microwave stopped working, decided I would prefer a countertop model. Much easier to remove foods at counter level, especially liquids. (Replaced the old unit with a dramatic black range hood). This one is easy to use, has nice features, and is not too huge. Very happy with purchase.

Great New Addition

Our old microwave was thirty years old and finally quit working. I bought a new GE very similar to one being replaced. I am amazed at how easy it is to use, clean and how my meals cook to perfection. This was a purchase long overdue.

Really disappointed with GE

My parents had always been an avid GE fan for products because they were produced with quality, longevity and value. I had owned a GE Microwave and it worked perfectly for quite a long time. Here lies the disappointment. This replacement doesn't even cook prepackaged popcorn as my previous GE did w/o a problem - now it's guesswork. "Manual" 1 page leaflet just Notes: try to add more time and watch closely. I should have chosen more wisely as the other owned GE products have also been disappointing. Like with my GE shares, I have lost all the way around on the purchase of GE products. Time to pass this lesson on to children, grandchildren, friends and all relatives, so they remember to choose wiser than I have done.

Dont buy this product, I trusted GE microwave that will last for 3 or more years but its not..all of a sudden it stops working, no power, no display...
