I had a GE spacemaker II microwave from 1985 until Thanksgiving day 2020, 35 years.Why would I want to buy anything other than a GE microwave again based on
the reliability and dependability of the one I had previously?! I didn't want anything too complicated so I love the features on this one. I wanted one slightly larger than the one I had for 35 years, with more power, yet still needed it to fit in the same cabinet space where my other one was situated. I looked at the features online, but went in the store to view in person and purchase.

I bought this microwave as a replacement for a GE unit I have had since 2004 and that unit was flawless.. I love the SS cabinet and the easy to use keypad.. I also respect the quality of this product as GE has always made the best appliances on the market..

I used it for almost 2 months and so far it works well. It doesn't heat food as fast as my old one did , but it heats food more evenly. I wish the door was a little more sturdy and heavyweight. It swings shut itself if I don't hold it because it is so lightweight.
