I have always liked GE products, from their small electronic components to the large screen TVs (I have one). They must put a lot of money into R&D because the products are not just engineered to work but also to last.

Only a few days operation, but all is well

We lost our over the range unit in a fire. We are in a shut-down now, so couldn't get workers in to complete some repairs required to be able to install a new micro. Tho I tended to focus on the negative reviews, I have found many of them to be apparent bad luck. Again, we have had it for only a few days, and 90% of our use is reheating, but controls are reasonably intuitive. I do agree with some of the reviews tht the push-button door open is not as great as it could be, but acceptable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great microwave to replace our old and tired unit. Runs quiet, controls are easy to use, and it cooks consistently every time.

When I got this I told my sisters that our great aunt had given this to me for a birthday gift for my first apartment. I told them, this isn’t one of those random K-Mart brands, this is a GE!!!!!!! I was so excited I told my great aunt that it looked so pretty and she told me to, “grow up! It’s not a toy, Maggie.” I was so in love I made some hot pockets. Two nights before I got this I had a stove fire trying to reheat chicken pot pie. Thank God for this new microwave. It is definitely an essential for every apartment. It’s EASY to use. It’s pretty. It cooks evenly (no cold spots). And it’s from a high quality brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!
