I like the operation and the cooking process. I am disappointed in the door operations. It is sometimes difficult to open, when I push the opener, the door does not open. I have to use my other hand to pull the door open. Very frustrating. If the door operated properly I would have rated it higher. I am a GE stockholder so I am disappointed with the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent microwave oven

I selected this microwave oven for our new home for two key reasons, 1) it's the perfect size for the appliance shelf in the pantry and 2) my friend who sells appliances recommended GE. It's a great microwave oven! I'm impressed by the power given the smaller size of this oven. It heats quickly and evenly. I'm very happy.
