Good features but hard to see buttons

Just got this microwave about a month ago. One I had was 26 years old when it died. New one seems to work well but buttons are too dark to read without a flashlight. I'm in my 70's and I along with my friends have difficulty reading button names. Otherwise unit works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible microwave - broken in less then 1 year 7

I’m sure they won’t put this out there for everyone to see, because its the complete truth and reality of their products. Our microwave has been cooking food at about 30% of the power it normally should and has for the last 1 year and 7 months. We have been having to cook to the time the package says, and keep adding time to it.
Listen to this - I cooked a regular bowl of Ramen tonight. Takes 3 minutes. It’s been 3 minutes my entire life since a teenager. Over 28 years. Tonight it took over 6 minutes to even get the water to boil.
They only offer a 1 year warranty of course (its an American product) if it was a different brand from another country and quality it would be at least 2 years. I’m an American born and raised, just pointing that out.
I’ll never hear from GE about this and no one will read it causes they won’t publish a negative review, but I’ve done my part. I’ll put this review on social media if I Dont hear Back, let’s put it that way! Your turn GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A microwave's cooking wattage can have an effect on overall cook time, with lower-wattage microwaves taking a longer time to heat items. Power supply is also a factor - you may have multiple appliances on the same circuit, which could affect the cooking wattage. It's also really important to make sure that your microwave is set to the correct power level for the food being cook. Love my new GE Stainless microwave oven as its the perfect size for my counter, plus blends in well with my other appliances and packs a powerful punch when it comes to doing what I purchased it for. It has numerous preset features, an easy to use door press and has an interior light (which many microwaves do not have)!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The buttons need a sledge hammer to operate. Changing uses with buttons doesn't work. The whole machine Freezes!
