It takes much longer to heat up food than my last microwave. What took 1 minute to heat up takes 4-5 minutes to heat up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned this model for a few years now and have not encountered any problems. Functions great and is easy to use. Have just purchased this exact model for a family friend as well.
