Just the right size. I had a GE oven/Microwave combination set for over 33 years. When the Microwave died AGAIN, This costs less than a repair call to fix. Now I will order a double oven and use this one on the countertop.

Replaced older model of higher wattage. Heats quietly and effectively. Nice appearance. Only feature that I would change is the requirement to either open the door or push end to add more time at the end of a cycle.

Found: Inexpensive and Reliable Countertop

This is the THIRD GE microwave that I have owned. I moved into an apartment that did not have a microwave. I am renovating my house and have a GE over the stove microwave that will be installed there. I installed a GE microwave in my old home in Houston and it was gorgeous. It was the regular GE brand even though all of my other appliances were GE Cafe which were very classy. Had this oven for a couple of months and no issues. I appreciate how it operates. It's very quiet and don't worry about the 950 watts not being 1000 or 1100. I used the same settings on some Marie Callendar's pot pies and the food was HOT even though the pot pie instructions said "could not guarantee cooked heat on microwaves with less than 1100 watts".
I would recommend this to a friend!
