I’ve been using my new microwave for about 3 months. It does the job but a very basic. I miss the features of my previous GE model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

keypad too dark

Poor choice to use gray lettering on a black background for the keypad. Hard to read. Needs higher contrast letters and numbers for better readability.

Not my dream microwave but it will do

Buttons are too hard to push and when I push them, the whole unit slides around on the counter. Compared to my last microwave, it is necessary to push many different buttons to get what I want (amount of time if fractions of minutes, power level is not high.) Because it is weaker power, need to add time to whatever food package directions state. On the plus side, it looks good and is short enough to fit under my counter. Also, it still works after two weeks.

Terrible experience

Worst applaince ever. Had issues right out of the box. Didnt work properly. Next to impossible to clean the stainless. Took it back. Never buy a GE product again.
