Excellent features and power

I had a GE microwave 1000 watt years ago and had no problem with it. So I did my homework, and found this one would do the job and then some. I'm glad we brought it. It goes good with our other appliances, black/stainless steel.

The door is a lot lighter than my 10 yr. old unit so I slammed it a couple of times by accident. I saw a review about the light coming on whenever you open the door and you can see your food processing, this is an excellent feature and truly appreciated. I liked this model because the exterior was considerably smaller than my old one but the interior was only 0.1 smaller and had a nicer sleeker look to it.

Purchased to replace an old similar GE Profile model. It does have some nice features like a 1 - 9 minute instant start, but everything else longer or shorter you have press a set button and an end button. Which brings me to my main con - you need a lot of light to be able to read the pad. Such an obvious design flaw, however, I am getting use to about where to push.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this microwave to replace a larger one, which was 20 years old. The size is perfect for the space, and everything is certainly user-friendly. I’m happy with my purchase.
