Shoddy, cheap microwave that a large amount of customers have had issues with in very short time frames. Peeling paint on the roof of the interior for us after just a couple years of limited/normal use making it unuseable and needing replaced. Support was joke. I can promise future replacement won't be a GE product or anything else in my house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the coating is actively flaking or the paint is peeling anywhere inside the oven cavity, we do not recommend using the microwave. The microwave is not repairable and we suggest replacing the unit. I won't be buying another GE appliance. This microwave just blew up. Only lasted a few years!
