Just what I needed!

My original microwave died after about 5 years, so I went searching for a replacement. This model is just right for me as a single person who doesn't try to do anything elaborate with a microwave. It is slightly less powerful than my previous oven, but the adjustment to slightly longer cooking times is not a problem. It is also slightly smaller, which is good because my other was really too big for the location. Things I love: white interior with light; quiet operation; a finished cooking/reminder buzzer that is not too loud and annoying; easy to operate control panel. It does not have a "sensor" which figures in to higher ratings from some reviewers, but the "potato" button gives better results than my previous model that did have a sensor. The only thing I don't like (but can certainly live with) is that the light never goes off until the door is closed. Wish it had an automatic shut off for the light. I did not give a five rating because I've only had it about a month and don't know if it will be reliable over a period of time.

It works very well for me, heats quickly & quietly. I also like the express 1 button heating feature and quiet door closing. Last GE oven lasted over 10 years so hoping this one will too.

I should have brought a higher power GE microwave. I had a 1200 watt GE microwave that failed after 2years. I replaced it a smaller 900 watt model. Mistake. What used to take a minute, now takes 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Well, my mistake. Other than that, the microwave performs as you would expect.

The only issue I had was the door is a little sticky. I sprayed it with some silicone spray and it’s working better now. Other than that it’s a great microwave for the price.

Great small microwave

We had to remove our stovetop venting microwave and were really missing not having the convenience of a microwave for reheating. This microwave fit the bill very nicely. It fits comfortably on our countertop and has already been used 4 times in two days. It's great!
