Great Little Microwave

Our over the stove Microwave died (different manufacturer) and we bought this counter top to use until we could replace the Over the Stove model. It was also a bonus appliance when we have a houseful of family. Serves the purpose well.

It seems to be a well made microwave. Quiet operation. Not flimsy to the touch. Door closes easily and without being heard throughout the house when you close it.

This was a replacement unit that had to fit into a very specific size space, so our choices were limited. We are very happy with this unit and would recommend it to our friends.

Works well. Only complaint. The Noise

Everything works well. Only complaint is the noise. When you start a cycle, it hums real loudly (I suspect the magnetron starting up) and then continues, but not as loud after a few seconds. Wife not happy about the noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second GE microwave that we have purchased. The other one is in another house and is not new. It has been very dependable with no problems identified. It has the basic functions which is all we need.
