Easy to Use. Quality. Needs Bolder Touch Display

I think this microwave is easy to understand how to use. And I like the quality. It performs well. The stainless steel matches all our different brand stainless appliances. What bothers me is that the touch display keypads are not big or BOLD enough in the color of the font size, so the non numeric buttons cannot be seen or read easily. The keypad letters need to be bigger or BRIGHTER. For this, I may return it. What a shame.

Looking for a stainless steel product

The microwave is just the right size and looks nice in our kitchen. The only down fall to this product is no light in the area of the icon.

First day and all is well

We were limited in selecting a replacement microwave because of the defined cut-out space where a previous GE Spacemaker II built in microwave had been installed. The measurements given were accurate, and the microwave looks good in the space. The only negative so far is that I expected the Use and Care brochure to be inside the microwave, but it wasn't there. I downloaded a copy, but I don't want to print 24 pages when a brochure should have been included.

Usually GE is reliable, not this time. Brought one home, it had a huge dent in the back. Returned it and got another, it worked well for about 2,weeks, then started making a loud noise from below the turntable. Took it back, thought I’d give it another try. This one started making the noise in about 2 days. This one is going back and I’m getting another brand. I’d give 0 stars if possible. It’s worthless if it’s unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fits our needs

When our old microwave quit suddenly we needed a replacement quickly. Most of the units we looked at were either physically too large for the area where it is kept or they were too low in the wattage output. This met both the size and range of output we were looking for.
