Hello Dee42 - Thanks for posting a review on your microwave. It is best to open the door by pressing the center of the door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate. This is normal operation for the microwave.
Additionally, it's normal to hear clicks or relays after starting the cycle. You will also hear them after pressing Start but before the unit actually starts running. I liked the microwave, but it only lasted 3 years. Only 2 people using it. It just quit.

Hard to read the control panel

It looks goog on the site and on the outside carton. However, there is no backlight for the control panel so it is close to impossible to read unless you are is a room with very bright lights. Even then it is questionable.

Keyboard not lighted

After I received the microwave I realize that the panel with numbers and on off does not light up at night and in the evening it’s very difficult to see. Horrible

I bought this microwave about six weeks ago the the turntable component already makes a noise like an animal is dying.

For the turntable issue, please make sure the turntable is centered and seated properly on the support. Also, check the turntable to make sure it is placed right side up.
